The Government of Guyana (GoG) through the Ministry of Housing and Water, Central Housing and Planning Authority is desirous of engaging Suppliers in ALL regions to supply construction materials specifically cement and steel as part of the Government’s support for home builders as was announced by His Excellency, Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali.
The Government of Guyana (GoG) through the Ministry of Housing and Water, Central Housing and Planning Authority is desirous of engaging private Contractors / Developers in financing and constructing the ‘Young Professional Houses’.
The strategy includes the contractors financing the construction of the units for beneficiaries who will be pre-qualified by CHPA for allocation pending approval for financing from the Banks. The Banks will provide payment to the Contractors / Developers.
