Hon. Susan Rodrigues

Minister within the Ministry of Housing and Water

Honourable Susan Rodrigues is a Member of Parliament in Guyana and holds the portfolio of Minister within the Ministry of Housing and Water. She was appointed to the position by President Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, on the 5th of August, 2020. Minister Rodrigues was 33 years old at the time of her appointment, making her the youngest Cabinet member in Guyana. She is the mother of two children and comes from a private-sector background in construction and real estate. Minister Rodrigues has a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Guyana and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Bedfordshire. She also serves on the Parliamentary Sectoral Committee on Foreign Relations.
